Note: since we're only 7 strong right now, i think we'll stay in one group. If we get more than 10 of us we may need to split up. So i really need to know if you're planning on coming or not (those of you who aren't on the list) so we can gather the right gear (two backpacking stoves, two first aid kits, two compasses, two topo maps, etc)


Gear
I know that lots of folks are starting to think about gear they need to purchase and/or borrow. If you need something can you post in the comments here what you need, not the group stuff like stove or tent. But boots, backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, etc.

Does anyone have a backpacking stove? I have a pocket rocket but it is in pretty bad shape and i was considering just buying a new one. I know some of you have car camping stoves which is great for friday night but we'll need something for the back country as well.
